Our History

Anglo Swimming Ponds is a sister company of Anglo Aquarium Plant, the largest Aquatic grower and wholesaler in the UK.

After 40 years in the aquatics trade, David & Rosalind Everett, Directors of Anglo Aquarium, formed Anglo Swimming Ponds Ltd, the first company to design and construct Swimming Ponds anywhere in the UK.

Natural Swimming Ponds

The Swimming Pond Concept is not new but it is well proven. As natural ponds, they have been used for centuries in large estates around the world, however, the first custom built European Swimming Pond as such, dates back to around 1985 in Germany.

The concept has been becoming increasingly popular, particularly in Europe where everyone is very conscious about conservation and recycling.

The concept is based on natural materials, natural water and leaving nature to carry out most of the maintenance for you
